🌺 Body & Face Waxing FAQ

Our expert estheticians make waxing in Seattle smooth, efficient, and as comfortable as possible. We specialize in both body and face waxing for all skin types.

What types of waxing do you offer?

We offer full-body waxing and facial waxing (brows, lip, chin, nose, etc). All services use gentle, high-quality waxes suitable for sensitive skin.

How long should my hair be before waxing?

Hair should be about ¼ inch long—roughly the length of a grain of rice—for best results.

Does waxing hurt?

You may feel a brief sting, but discomfort is minimal and temporary. Our estheticians use precise techniques and soothing post-wax care to ensure comfort.

How often should I get waxed?

Every 4–6 weeks is ideal to maintain smooth skin and reduce regrowth over time.

What should I do before my waxing appointment?

For face waxing, please avoid retinol or exfoliants for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. Waxing is never done on clients using Accutane and is not recommended for clients using retinoids or antibiotics. Please inform your esthetician if you are using any medications that could affect your skin or if you have recently had any chemical peels or laser treatments.

What aftercare should I follow?

Avoid heat, exercise, swimming, sun, and tight clothing for 24 hours. Keep the area clean and moisturized, and exfoliate gently after a few days to prevent ingrown hairs. We also sell post-waxing products to keep your skin clear if you are prone to ingrown hairs.
